Sweden is a paradise for WALKERS, by the immense size and the unspoilt character of nature. SMÅLAND is situated in South Sweden, an varied landscape creatied by glaciers in the ice age, full of stones, carved rocks, many lakes and peat-bogs. This landscape is also characterized by red farms with fields, surrounded by stone walls and flower fields. And South Sweden has most hiking trails, in this UNSPOILT nature.
You will hear nothing than birds singing … And then the smell of the woods … mmm. Slow down in the centuries-old and silent forests, full of wild and rare plants. Along the way you’ll discover crystal clear streams and the lingon-berries and/or mushrooms are waiting… In the woods you can spot deer, elk and wild boar. Småland … unspoilt NATURE.
This is also the neighbourhood of author Vilhem Moberg. Who wrote, amongst other things, the world famous books serie’ The Emigrants ”
In short, real Småland!
